I can't say enough good things about Gary, JC, and all the good folks there. Gary made all the arrangements for us on Antiparos, and is a great dive guide-and a great instructor. I watched him work with novice divers both young and old, and he was patient and careful, and did everything he could to make these folks' first dive experience an enjoyable one. JC also is top notch: I watched him work with an anxious diver through one dive to make the dive a good one, and from what I saw, it was. Too often, when one searches on the web, it's difficult to find a place that is exactly what you want... however, in this case, Blue Island Divers IS exactly that-a great dive center on an amazingly beautiful island, staffed with folks who know what they're doing-and go far out of their way to help you have an enjoyable holiday. From the hotel arrangements at the Kouros Village hotel to equipment setup (I brought most of my own-but didn't really need to--the BCs that BID has are quite good-much better than I've seen at other centers as rentals) to dive boat to dive sites, it was all a fantastic experience. Thanks! We will be back again, for a longer stay. |
