The beaches of Paros can perhaps be split in two categories: popular sun seeker beaches and sporty beaches.

Here sun worshipers can tan to their hearts content with a nearby beach bar at hand. The sporty beaches, like Golden and Pounta, also get plenty of sun but there the emphasis is more on activities like windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Parasporos beach
Location: Near to the town of Parikia, just south of the town Parasporos is a large beach with emerald waters and golden sand located just a few Km from the capital and main port. Umbrellas, sun beds and beach bars available.

Krios
Krios on the north-west of the island, quite close to Parikia is a long beach with plenty of white sand and some nice clear water for swimming. It's easy to get to from the main town

Agia Irini
A few kilometres south of Parikia the small beach of Agia Irini is boarded with beautiful palm trees, giving to the place a tropical atmosphere. It is a dreamy site but it can get crowded sometimes for it is really small.

Golden Beach and New Golden Beach
South-east of the island the Golden Beaches (Chrissi Akti) are long golden sandy beaches famous by windsurfers for its ideal wind conditions.

Marchello
Across the bay from Parikia the beach of Marchello have crystalline waters and long, golden sandy beach and is located just a couple of Km away from Parikia.

Pounda
Location: On the southern half of the east coast of the island Description: Pounda Beach is one of the most famous and most crowded beaches of Paros and reminds of the Paradise Beach in Mykonos.

Kolimbithres
In the huge bay of Naoussa, or Plastira Bay. The beach of Kolimbithres is one of the most famous beaches of Paros. It is known for its smooth rock formation.

Monastiri Beach
A couple of kilometres after the beach of Kolimbithres, Monastiri Beach (the beach of the monastery) is located , in a small rocky bay surrounded by huge rocky hills.

Piperi
In Naoussa village a small sandy beach that is located in the most beautiful village of Paros.

Ambelas
Location: Couple of Km from Naoussa Description: A picturesque little fishing port with some restaurants and some hotels and accommodations.

Glyfa
On the eastern coast near the village of Drios, Glyfa is a little Sandy beach very isolated in comparaison with the other beaches of the island of Paros.
