Course details
- Perfect your ability to demonstrate freediving skills.
- Learn how to structure and conduct freediving courses using PADI’s systematic approach.
- Develop clear and effective ways to explain freediving concepts and techniques to students.
- Practice delivering lessons in a classroom, confined water, and open water settings.
- Gain a thorough understanding of PADI’s guidelines, safety standards, and quality assurance processes.
Prerequisites
Meet one of the following:
- Be a PADI Master Freediver.
- Be a PADI member (DM and above) and a PADI Advanced Freediver.
- Be a Freediver Instructor from another organisation and a PADI Advanced Freediver.
Also required:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a current medical statement signed by a doctor within the last 12 months.
- Hold a current Emergency First Response (CPR/first aid) certificate or equivalent.
Performance requirements
By the end of the course you will have completed the following :
- 50 metre DYN
- 2:30 STA
- 20 metre CWT
- 15 metre rescue
- The Freediver Instructor exam.
And:-
- Have become familiar with PADI Freediving standards.
- Be able to conduct confined and open water sessions and anticipate and resolve problems that may occur.
- Have attended lectures on relevant topics including, Marketing, Risk management, Environment, and others.

At the moment, we are running them at the beginning and end of the season, i.e. May and October.
What is included in the price?
- PADI materials.
- Equipment, additional cost if required.
- Tea, coffee and water
How long does the course last?
7 days. Sunday until Saturday
Where are the courses being held?
Currently we are running them on the small Greek Island of Antiparos.
What is not included in the price.
- Flights and transport to the dive centre.
- PADI Feeediver Instructor application fee.
- Meals.
- Accommodation. This can be arranged at an additional cost.
